JC offensive line recruit Stan Hasiak, 6'4", 295 lbs., will not be with Oregon St. this fall after all, according to word from head coach Mike Riley.
Hasiak, formerly with UCLA, and most recently with Mt. San Antonio JC, was apparently unsuccessful in his efforts to get his coursework and grades up to admissions requirements over summer term.
This increases the likelihood that either Gavin Andrews, 6'5", 300, or Garrett Weinrich, 6'6", 285, both true freshmen, or possibly both, will see action instead of a red-shirt season.
Accompanying the announcement was confirmation from Riley that as expected, true freshman Isaac Seumalo, 6'3", 302, will begin the season as the first string center.
