CBS Sports' Bruce Feldman has projected the toughest football schedules this coming fall, and as has been common in recent years, where the Beavers have regularly faced one or more BCS bowl quality non-conference foes, Oregon St. is rated as having the third toughest schedule in the country. This with Nicholls St. on the schedule! Imagine if Oregon St. was missing UCLA and playing USC instead, and had a more challenging non-conference opener. The Pac-12 North actually has 3 of the 9 toughest schedules, as Washington is #2 on Feldman's list, thanks mostly to the Huskies' trip to LSU in week 2, and California is #9 (the Bears have a bear of a stretch in their schedule, where they visit Ohio St. and USC back to back).
