Oregon St. moved up to #15 in the final SB Nation Blog Poll until after the Bowl Season, after being #16 last week, and Stanford edged up a single spot as well, to #7, after edging UCLA in the Pac-12 Championship Game. The Bruins didn't slip as a result of losing, staying at #17, and idle Oregon remained at #3, behind Notre Dame and Alabama, just as they were.

Kansas St., Oregon's Fiesta Bowl opponent, is #5, the only ranked opponent (in this poll) that the conference will face in the post-season.

Among the non-PAC-12 teams from the west, Utah St. stayed ahead of Boise St., with the Aggies at #18 and the Broncos at #19, and San Jose St. broke into the top 25, with the Spartans in at #24.
