Sean Mannion will be available if needed Saturday against Utah. - Rick Scuteri-US PRESSWIRE
There were no complications or setbacks for Sean Mannion in the 24 hours following his first practice back a week after arthroscopic surgery to clean up meniscus damage to his left knee, so he worked full speed in today's practice.
"I feel 100%," Mannion said. "There's no swelling, and I'm as good as new."
After that went well, head coach Mike Riley announced that Mannion will be the second-string quarterback behind Cody Vaz Saturday night when Oregon St. faces Utah for homecoming.
Mannion's return as the starter is now the reasonable goal for the Washington game next week.
