Ryan Katz will become a San Diego Aztec, according to both the North County Times and Katz's hometown Santa Monica Mirror, after he completes his degree this winter term at Oregon St. Katz, who lost his job as the Beavers' quarterback to Sean Mannion in the bizarre Sacramento St./Wisconsin affair, will then enroll at San Diego St., and be able to play his one remaining year of eligibility this coming fall. Oregon St. has a series scheduled against San Diego St., but it won't be until the 2013 and 2014 seasons. The Aztecs are bolstering their already on the rise program with Pac-12 defections, as Katz apparently will have former USC WR Brice Butler to throw to.
