Back Home, And Here's The Injury Update

Stay connected for news and updates

Now that everyone is back from the midwest junket, Oregon St. head coach Mike Riley has been able to get an assessment on the injury situation after the Wisconsin game.

Left guard Josh Andrews will be out at least 4 weeks with a sprain to the MCL and a bone contusion in his knee, Riley said Sunday night. Senior Michael Lamb filled in for Andrews after he went down against the Badgers, and Grant Enger, who is also the backup left tackle, could figure into the equation as well.

Enger has also been a backup at tight end, but Joe Halahuni should return to the lineup after the bye week, against UCLA.

The bye comes at a good time, as Riley expects both of Oregon St.'s experienced starting wide receivers to be ready for the Bruins as well, with the extra week's time. Jordan Bishop left the game Saturday with a sprained right ankle, and did not return. Marcus Wheaton suffered bruised ribs, but did finish the game.
