Today we continue the second annual picking of the BTD Preseason Football Poll.

Yesterday, you guys voted in Washington State as the sixth place team in the Pac-12 North, and today it is time to pick the fifth place team.

Below you will find my prediction, along with the five remaining Pac-12 North teams. Your job is simple, just pick the team that you think will finish in 5th place. The poll will be open all day, and the next poll will be up shortly after.

My Prediction: California 

The Golden Bears went 5-7 last season, with four of those wins at Cal Memorial Stadium. This year the Golden Bears will be playing their home games at AT&T Park in San Francisco while Memorial Stadium undergoes renovation, and I think it hurts the team lot. Without a big home field advantage and an un-experienced offense, I think they are in a lot of trouble this season.

The Bears do have a solid defense, led by inside-line backers Mychal Kendricks and DJ Holt. But like I said above, I think the offense will struggle to score points, especially early in the season, and that's going to produce a low win total in 2011.
