Oregon St. pitcher Sam Gaviglio has been named to the 2011 Baseball All-America second team by Louisville Slugger.

UCLA pitcher Trevor Bauer, named the 2011 right handed pitcher of the year, was the only Pac-10 player named to the first team, but a couple of other players from teams familiar to Beaver fans also made the list, as Fresno St. pitcher Greg Gonzalez and Connecticut pitcher Matt Barnes were also honored.

Gaviglio was joined on the second team pitching staff by Oregon's Tyler Anderson, the only other Pac-10 player on the second team.

Congratulations Sam!
