It's 90 at noon in Nashville, and the Beavers are feeling the heat

The heat of having to win or go home against a star laden team with a big time pitcher going against them. And an array of freshmen charged with keeping the opponent at bay.

Rumblings are that it will be Adam Duke, left, that starts tonight, with coach Pat Casey planning an early hook if Duke, or whomever follows him, doesn't have the performance of their short career. If it works, what Casey does Sunday is anyone's guess. But Oregon St. has to first get back to the ballpark instead of to the Nashville airport tomorrow.
