The Cavaliers also won 3 of 4 games, including taking 2 of 3 from Miami. Oregon St. has now been in the top 10 6 weeks in a row.
Winning 3 of 4 also moved Oregon St. up from #3 to #2 in the Baseballnews.com poll, ahead of South Carolina, and Vanderbilt, who lost 2 of 3 to Florida.
Arizona St., who lost 2 of 3 in Los Angeles to USC, fell from #6 to #8 in the Baseballamerica.com poll, and from #7 to #13 in the Baseballnews.com poll.
UCLA, who lost 3 of 5 games against non-conference opponents from southern California, dropped out of the Baseballamerica.com poll.
The Beavers also remained at #7 in the USA Today/Coaches' poll, while the Sun Devils, who had been tied with Oregon St., fell to #12. The Coaches also dropped UCLA from #19 to #21.
California, idle for the last week for finals, remained at #25 in the Baseballnews.com poll, and, curiously, Stanford remained at #25 in the Coaches' poll, despite losing 2 of 3 in Eugene against Oregon.
Where the scattered losses OSU has suffered and the various losses the other Pac-10 teams are suffering is mattering is in the RPI, where Oregon St. is only #20.
