The Beavers defeated Washington 6-4 last night, but there is no time for rest as the teams will play a doubleheader to close out the series today.

Originally, the schedule called for a single game, at 2:00 PM, with another game tomorrow, but the threat of rain prompted the teams to move up the schedule to improve the chances of getting the games in.

The Game 1 starter for the Beavers is Sam Gaviglio (9-1, 1.85), and Ben Wetzler (6-2, 3.76) will take the mound to start Game 2.

Last night, Beaver starter Josh Osich was chased after just 3.2 innings of work after giving up 4 runs (All earned). The Beavers would battle back though, led by Scott Schulz out of the bullpen and Kavin Keyes at the plate, as Oregon State earned a 6-4 comeback win.

Schultz got the win, improving to 3-0 on the season.
