Oregon St.'s All-American Colby Covington couldn't claim third place in the 174 lb. class at the NCAA Wrestling National Championship Meet in Philadelphia, PA, but rebounded to win the fifth place match Saturday night.

The points from the win in that match gave Oregon St. 26 points for the weekend, good for 21st. overall. Penn St. claimed the team Championship.

It was the highest placing for the Beavers in their five seasons under Coach Jim Zalesky. Their previous best placing was 26th in 2007, Zalesky's first season. The last time Oregon St. did better was back in 2001, when they finished 18th.
