#16 Arizona 67, Arizona State 52: A long week of Pac-10 hoops was completed on Sunday night in Tempe, where the 1st place Wildcats met the 10th ranked Sun Devils in the Territorial Cup.
After going back and forth for the first seven minutes of the game, Arizona began to look like the Top 20 team that they are. The Wildcats extended their lead to as many as 11 in the first half, and they took a 34-24 lead into the locker rooms. Arizona continued their hot shooting in the second half to build a 19 point advantage, but the Sun Devils slowly battled back.
In front of a rocking Wells Fargo Arena, Arizona State cut the lead to nine with 11:45 remaining. But Arizona settled down, quickly built the lead back up to double digits, and began to run away with a victory. The final was 67-52, keeping Arizona at the top of the Pac for at least another four days.
