Masoli Eligible After All; NCAA Reverses Decision
Former Oregon quarterback Jeremiah Masoli, who transferred to Mississippi after getting his degree, and subsequently being dismissed from the Duck's football team, only to have the NCAA decide he still had to sit out a year, apparently will be eligible this fall afterall.
NCAA rules allow immediate transfer by graduated students to another institution that offers a Graduate School program in a program not offered at the student-athlete's original school. They also initially ruled Masoli ineligible too, though.
Word today, however, is that the NCAA Division I Subcommittee for Legislative Relief has reversed that decision.
Masoli, a senior, has one year of eligibility remaining, and is expected to start for coach Houston Nutt at Ole Miss.

That whole thing they tried to sell is sh*t on a shovel
He found a program that UofO doesn’t have and transferred, so happens that they needed a QB on the football team, and he had one year of eligibility left……yeah…..riiiiiight
"Twin-headed infinite swirling vortex of grotesque suckitude known as Tony Clark and Eric Byrnes"
That was fast...
I think it’s funny that he got through the appeals process so quickly, but it took a whole year to get Roberto Nelson’s high school transcript approved…
