James Rodgers as a running threat?

Beaver friends, I am a Trojan, but a long time admirer of the Beavs and former USC OC, Coach Riley. I share with you a disdain for Nike U and the Ducks. We have a flame war going on at CC that erupted from a discussion on returning PacX rushing groups groups. I have watched the Beavs a ton over the years. I am well aware that James R is a WR, but I also know that he has over 1,300 career rushing rds, averages over 50 rushes per season, and has rushed for 9 career TDs. James rushed for almost 600 yds in 2007 alone. Yet, the Ducks refuse to accept the inclusion of James in an analysis of the Beavs rushing attack. I know that James gets many carries on fly sweeps, but how many of you have seen him lineup at TB to spell Bernard in '07 or Quizz when injured the last two seasons? My point is that James is also the Beavs 2nd leading rushing, and even though McCants is healthy, you must include James in any assessment of the Beavs rushing talent. Any examples, comments, videos, news articles, etc. from your community of experts of James lining up at TB would be greatly appreciated as I attempt to dismiss these Duck rabble rousers! Thanks in advance for your kind consideration.
