Around SBN: Miikka Kiprusoff Wins 300th Game, Buffalo Crushes Boston

The University of Washington announced today that Josh Shirley has been accepted, and will be with the Husky football team when they start fall practice.

Shirley, a four-star linebacker recruit from Henry J. Kaiser High in Fontana, Calif., signed with UCLA last February, after also seriously considering UW, but was one of three recruits dismissed after being involved in a backpack snatching incident.

Charges have not been brought against Shirley so far.

Shirley is an impact player expected to contend for the starting job at strong-side linebacker for the Huskies.

\with Jesus Locker. Problem solved.

at least us Ducks don’t have to hear about ‘character issues’ from them anymore. if only OS would pick up one of the other 2 kids.
