Utah's move to the Pac-10 took another step forward today, when the University announced that Utah's Board of Trustees will hold a public meeting Thursday at 12:30 p.m. on the 6th floor of Rice-Eccles Stadium.
The only topic listed on the agenda is "Discussion of Athletic Conference."
The Board of Trustees is expected to approve a departure from the Mountain West Conference, and probably the acceptance of an invitation to join the Pac-10, which the conference today officially extended.
