The week began with Syracuse blowing out St. John's. On the following night, Kansas blew out Kansas State and Maryland upset Duke in College Park. On Saturday, West Virginia outlasted Villanova in an Overtime instant classic, winning 68-66. In the final game of the week, Baylor destroyed Texas 92-77 in Waco.
