Quizz Jumping to the NFL?
I have heard him say that he wasn't multiple times, but a buddy sent me this link today. I still highly doubt he will go to the NFL (this season really didnt improve his stock imo), but have any of you heard any thing else?

Sources have told us that Oregon State running back Jacquizz Rodgers will enter April’s draft. The tiny back totaled 1184 rushing yards, 14 rushing scores and 44 receptions, all lower than his sophomore totals of 2009.

Brandon Browner
Whoever would be advising QR to come out this year would be costing
him a zillion dollars. He has the opportunity to get drafted high next year, and that’s the only way he gets guaranteed money of any significance.
yeah...
NO.
He will have a better year next year, and a better beaver season that will get him noticed a lot more by the public.
I met Joe Halahuni's parents.....in Alaska. Jealous?
"Sources" say a lot of things
Without a credible name, I’m not writing it with a Sharpie. However, if he did decide to enter the draft, I can see some reasons why and wish him good luck. Of course I’d love to see him back as a Beaver though :)
What about
entering the draft w/o an agent so he doesn’t lose eligibility? Does this happen ever?

you don't hire an agent
but as soon as you get drafted, i’m pretty sure your NCAA eligibility runs out. Otherwise if a player thinks he’s drafted too low, he’ll go back for his Sr. season

No, I’m pretty sure you can be drafted, not sign the contract and still have eligibility to return. You just need to make sure to keep it clean and stay away from anyone trying to provide you with extra benefits.
Word is that he is putting his name in the pool for draft evaluation to see where he could go should he choose to leave early. Tons of guys do this, so we shouldn’t worry too much.
If you declare yourself eligible for the draft by the deadline date
you lose your remaining eligibility, agent or no agent.
If you hire an agent, you lose your eligibility.
No going back in either case, so it is a decision best made carefully.

Go Beavs!
Ok
Because, with Basketball, I thought as long as you didn’t hire an agent, and even got drafted, as long as you never received any money, than you could return back to your school.

We need to get Quizz some big linemen he can get lost behind ‘cause he’s a lil’ dude ;-) (2008 USC ftw)
Sounds like Riley and Co. will hit the JUCO ranks hard for field-ready O-Linemen. Not only were we thin there this year but we just plain stunk at times.
Yeah
I have heard about a couple offers to some JuCo’s already, one being a DE that sounds decent. But we NEED o-lineman like the are going out of style, if not just for depth. If we improve both lines and keep the rest intact, we should be a good team next season. Katz should surely improve on this season.

I'd rather see the dependence on walk-ons become a thing of the past.
You don’t consistently land good RB and QB talent with a rag-tag squad like that, even if they’re scrappers and over achievers. You need to be able to walk into a recruit’s house and say, “Look, we’re going to have some top notch guys blocking for you for four years.”
I'm a little confused too (see above).
I was almost sure that you could conceivably be draft eligible but not forfeit your amateur status as long as you don’t hire an agent or start collecting benefits… hmmm… I need to read up on this I guess… to the google machine!
The timing is not right for Quizz in 2010
NFL Soup rates Quizz as a likely 3rd round possibility. At 5’7", he’s the smallest back among the 38 they highlight as draftable. I think they’re right that he wouldn’t go in the 1st or 2nd rounds, because his performance in 2010, for a lot of reasons, was not stellar, and there would be some suspicion that he’s just too small to excel in the NFL. He’d have a better chance to convince teams otherwise and go in an earlier round, for much bigger bucks, if he had a terrific year in 2011.
