The 2011-12 Pac-12 Men's and Women's Basketball schedules have been announced. There are no divisions, and 18 conference games, which means four teams will not play a home and home against any given opponent, other than their natural rivals.
Next season, the Oregon St. men will visit the Arizona schools, and host the LA schools, but will not have the return trips until the 2012-13 season. The new Pac-12 schools, Utah and Colorado, will play Oregon St. twice, including visiting the valley the last weekend before the Pac-12 tournament, which will be March 7-10.
The conference will continue to use the Thursday-Saturday format, with few exceptions, though a few of the games on the preliminary schedule could still find their way to Sundays.
The season starts with a trip to the state of Washington, for games with the Huskies and Cougars on Dec. 29 & 31.
The teams the Beavers see only once in the 2013-14 and 2014-15 season will be Colorado, Utah, Cal, and Stanford.
2015-16, 2016-17, 2019-20, and 2020-21 will see only single games against the Washington schools.
The women's schedule will continue to be a reverse-mirror of the men's schedule.
Civil War weekends will be Jan. 28, 2012, when the Oregon St. men visit Oregon, and the Duck women come to Corvallis, and Feb. 25, when the Beavers host Oregon, and the Oregon St. women travel to Eugene.
