After losing the Pac-10 title to top ranked Stanford last Friday night by a 2-0 score, the Oregon St. women's soccer team also dropped a 1-0 decision in overtime Sunday at California. The game didn't impact the Beavers in the Pac-10 standings, as their 7-2 record still earned them second place.

This week, Oregon St.. who finished the regular season with a 15-3-1 record, heads for Stillwater, Oklahoma, and will play the Memphis Tigers at 5 PM CST (3 PM PST), in the first round of the NCAA tournament Friday. It's the second year in a row Oregon St. has made the 64 team tournament. Last season, Oregon St. won twice, reaching the sweet 16.

The winner of Friday's game will play the winner of the Oklahoma St.-Michigan game on Sunday.
