After the tough loss against the Huskies last night, I started to wonder, do we have the ESPN curse? (aka, any ESPN game that features our football team is a guaranteed loss for us)

Ever since we lost the Boise State game, I started questioning myself if our team had the ESPN curse. In 2009, 3 of our games were televised by ESPN (including one featured on ABC):

• October 24 at USC
• December 7 at University of Oregon
• December 22 at Macco Vegas Bowl (against BYU)

Back then, I thought it was just a coincidence, but in 2010, the three games televised on ESPN so far (including one on ABC):

• September 4 at Cowboy Stadium (against TCU)
• September 25 at Boise State
• October 16 at Washington

All resulted in a loss. While all the other games in 2009 and 2010 (with the lone exception is game against Arizona in 2009) that aired on either CBS College Sports, FSN, and Versus resulted in a win. 

While I am not a believer of superstitions, this is somewhat troubling, and the coverage that is supposed to help get our program on the map may actually be hurting our program in reality by the loss, which lead me to the worst possible conclusion that we may have the ESPN Curse.
