On The Road To Seattle

On the way north to Seattle, the Oregon St. University Marching Band made a stop Friday, and put on a rally at Pioneer Square in downtown Portland.

(Just a quick fix of "Oregon State! Fight! Fight! Fight!" and "Hail to OSU" to tide Beaver fans over the long day while waiting for Saturday night, and the battle with the Washington Huskies, to roll around.)

2 Things:

Firstly, the Oregon Marching Band has yet to have a reason to come to Portland, as far as traveling routes are concerned. The Beav’s band/cheerleader buses needed to go through Portland to get to Seattle, ergo why not make a stop and do a pep rally, EH? The only time the OMB has traveled thus far this year is to ugly, ugly Pullman, therefore, why would there be a stop in Portland.

SECONDLY, it makes sense that what funding the beavs have would go to extra pep rallies in town. They need to sell tickets DESPERATELY, AAND, the ducks own the Portland demographic- and its only going to get worse now that they have a campus there and are temporarily ranked #1.

No joke! Is it freakin’ game time yet?

Oh well, guess I have to do stuff I’ve been putting off for a long time, like bottling.
