Jordan Bishop's Whirly Bird Catch: Let's See That Again
Somewhat lost in the shuffle of Oregon State's 23-21 win last night was the catch that freshman slotback Jordan Bishop reeled in with about ten minutes remaining in the game.
Bishop finished the game with 5 receptions for 43 yards. This catch, recorded off my television, was by far the most memorable (freeze frames added):

Sweet catch.
Bishop is a guy the Beavs need to have on the field. He is a perfect slotback. Hopefully Catchings can come back strong. Catchings, James, Bishop, and Adeniji should be a good rotation. I am wondering why the coaches chose not to redshirt Wheaton though. He seems like a kid that could benefit from a year of getting bigger.
Did this make the Top 10 on SportsCenter?
It definitely should of.

So awesome
that catch was worthy of the audible, “Oh, ****!” I let out in front of my friends mom.

Very promising young WR.
After hearing people talk about his athleticism and potential, I was very happy to see a local kid (Salem, right?) get a play off like this. Here’s to many, many more.
