Sammy Succeeding in Tampa

Ira Kaufman of the Tampa Tribune has an article that talks about Sammie Stroughter's strong pre-season in Tampa Bay, and that he has, according to Bucs coach Raheem Morris, made the team as a seventh round draft choice.

He's a steal, who are we kidding?

Cliff McBride's photo shows the familiar joy on Sammie's face, which as Oregon State knows, and the Oregonian's Paul Buker described in this morning's edition, disappeared for a while, but returned in full glory. And happily for everyone in Beaver nation, is still there.

Have to agree with Paul totally, it is impossible not to be totally pumped any time the subject of Sammy comes up.

I’ve thought the same thing. Sabby’s not as fun to watch at the pro level (in my opinion), but Sammie… well, that’s a different story.

Watched that 75 yard return. Was sooo happy for the kid. Go get that money!
