Gary Payton to be Inducted into Oregon Sports Hall of Fame
Former Oregon State men's basketball standout Gary Payton will be inducted into the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame in a ceremony on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the Multnomah Athletic Club.

Payton, who graduated from Oregon State in 1990 as the all-time leading scorer in Beavers history, and was a consensus All-American in 1990, played on two U.S. Olympic teams, and played 17 years in the NBA, the first 13 with the Seattle SuperSonics.
Peyton was a part of three NCAA Tournament teams and one squad that appeared in the NIT.
