Hudson signs with Philadelphia
Beaver Football and Baseball recruit Kyrell Hudson has chosen to sign with the Philadelphia Phillies. The touted Wide Reciever / Safety / Kick Returner / Outfielder signed a $475,000 contract on Monday.
Mike Riley had this to say about the Evergreen High Schooler. "He's a fabulous athlete and he had a great oppurtunity to try and play two sports at OSU, but he had to pick a road," Riley said. "If this is the one he chooses, we just wish him well."

Bummer. I was pumped to see this kid on the diamond as well as the football field. Can’t blame him though—lots of money and a great opportunity.
I'm pretty sure that if someone paid me almost half a million out of high school I would've clubbed baby seals for a living.
And I love baby seals.
Can’t blame Kyrell one bit.
CAN regret never seeing him setting a PAC 10 base stealing record in the same year where he averaged over 25 yards per punt return as a true frosh. Sigh…
