It's Draft Day: Who Stays, Who Goes?
I'll admit that I'm not quite up on all the ins and out of the First-Year Player Draft.... the main thing I do know is that What I do know is that several players on Oregon State's roster, including Ryan Ortiz, Jorge Reyes, Kraig Sitton, Greg Peavey, Adalberto Santos and Joey Wong will likely be drafted. From my knowledge of the draft, it seems like it won't be a matter of if they get drafted, it will be a matter of if they decide to head for the pros or stick around at college for another year.
But not only will it be guys from Oregon State's current roster, it will high school players expected to make a big impact this year. Among the players who are supposobly headed to Oregon State are catcher Andrew Susac from California, and football/baseball star Jordan Poyer from Astoria. Kyrell Hudson, Breck Ashdown, and Matt Boyd are some other names that could be called at some point during the 50-round process.
The draft begins this afternoon at 3:00 p.m., and the first round can be seen on MLB TV and on MLB.com.
With that said, who do you think will be back next year? Who will bolt for the big leagues?

Yes, Kyrell needs to come here.
That would be HUGE
I support Takimoto in his effort to support Roger Kieschnick in his quest to becoming the best Kieschnick ever to play professional baseball.
Ducks' Matzek is picked up at 11 by Rockies.
Glad we won’t have to face him next year…

Kyrell drafted by the Phillies
Third round, 106th player overall. Hopefully he won’t sign.
I miss CV3000
As VD Said...
That will be some good money.

The Phillies website has him listed as "questionable to sign"

maybe Ortiz sticks around
if he thinks he can improve his stock to get up into the 1st/2nd rounds next year.
All he needs to do is hit for more power.

fingers crossed!
I agree, we’ll see though but as Jake pointed out in the update post he’s still on the board to be drafted so maybe.
To me he does seem to be a little under his potential and personally I think another year would do him a lot of good. But I’m not him and he probably has a good idea and minors could bring it out in him too.
