Darwin Barney Promoted to AAA in Cubs Organization
Per WVLT Knoxville:
SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Smokies, Class AA minor league affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, announce a series of roster moves today. RHP Andrew Cashner and INF Nate Samson have been promoted from High-A Daytona. In corresponding moves, SS Darwin Barney has been promoted to Triple-A Iowa, while LHP Casey Lambert has been placed on the DL with left elbow stiffness.
