Joey Wong vs. Ryan Ortiz (?) in the Minors

PrintI saw Jake and Connor mention this earler today... that Joey Wong's team, the Tri Cities Dust Devils, and the team that Ryan Ortiz is supposed to be on... the Vancouver Canadians... are supposed to play tonight. Has Ortiz not got on the team yet? I thought he signed with the A's a few days ago. Would have been interesting to follow the Wong/Ortiz matchup, but I guess we will have to wait.
Or is Ryan heading to another minor league team of the A's? Anyone know?

I think that
Ryan will be joining the team later in the week. The series goes through Saturday so they will probably face each other later in the series. They have also got a five game series in August so they will most likely face each other then too.
I miss CV3000
Yeah...
I heard that Ryan was down in California a few days ago (his girlfriend is Bud Black’s daughter…) so he probably was given a couple days to get to Tri Cities to meet the team. Tri Cities isn’t exactly the easiest place to commute too…
