Last night, it was Texas who launched five home runs, but it was ultimately LSU who used the small-ball tactics to defeat the Longhorns in Game 1 of the 2009 Men's CWS Championship Series. The game was a back-and-forth affair conducted in 107 degree heat... and tonight's game will be played in similar temperatures. 

Pat Casey made the trip to Omaha again this year... he took a few minutes to speak to ESPN's Kyle Peterson during a game last week between Arizona State and North Carolina:
