Beaver Baseball Players In Action This Summer

Here's a list of the Beaver Baseball players that will be in action this Summer.

Alaska Baseball League

Brad Kidd, Fairbanks Fire                                           

Michael Miller, Peninsula Oilers

Kraig Sitton, Anchorage Bucs

The ABL is a six team league. Each team plays 50 games. The top two teams qualify for the National Baseball Congress World Series. The season starts June 10th and runs through August 3rd. Teams play with a roster limit of 24, plus an exemption for Alaska residents. The league is famous for the "Plane Crash Game" and the "Midnight Sun Game."

Cape Cod League

Greg Peavey, Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox

Stefen Romero and Tanner Robles, Bourne Braves

The CCL is a ten team league. Each team plays 44 games. The top two teams in each division play a best-of-three series and those winners meeting in a best-of-three championship. League play starts June 11 and ends August 15. Teams play with a roster limit of 25.

Coastal Plain League

Rob Folsom, Wilson Tobs

The CPL is a 13 team league. Each team plays 56 games. The top eight teams go to the playoffs. The season starts on May 27th and runs through August 4th. Teams play with a roster limit of 27.

Star-divide

New York Collegiate Baseball League

Blake Gibbs, Albany Dutchmen

The NYCBL is a 14 team league. Each team is scheduled to play 44 games. The season starts in early June and goes through late August. Teams play with a roster of 25 active players.

Northwoods League

John Tommasini, Rochester Honkers

The Northwoods League is a 15 team league. Each team is scheduled to play 68 games. First half and second half division winners meet in a best-of-three series followed by a best-of-three championship series. Teams play with a roster of 26.

Sierra Baseball League

Brandon Hayes and Logan Lotti, Humboldt Crabs

Max Shupe, San Jose Seals

The SBL is a 15 team league located in California. Each team is scheduled to play 59 games. The season starts June 5th and runs through August 9th. Teams play with a roster of 27.

West Coast League

Carter Bell, Sam Gaviglio, James Nygen, and Brent Warren will play for the Corvallis Knights.

Mike Chiarelli, Bellingham Bells

Ryan Gorton, Wenatchee Applesox

Nick Stiltner, Bend Elks

The WCL is an eight team league. Each team plays 48 games. The season starts June 5th and runs through August 9th. Each team has a roster limit of 28.

This will be a good post for us to reference throughout the summer. I’m hoping to keep a close eye on some of these guys and what they do over the summer months.

I was thinking about doing some open threads for some games in case someone wants to see how a player is doing. Could lead to some nice conversation over the summer.
