Baseball Open Thread: vs. California, Game 3
The Beavers have already clinched a series win against the Bears, but there is still work to do today. The Beavers have gotten two great pitching performances from Tyler Waldron and Greg Peavey so far this weekend, and they need another one from Jorge today to finish off the series with a sweep.
The matchup:
RHP Jorge Reyes (4-1, 3.90) vs. TBA
The first pitch of the game is scheduled for 1:00 p.m at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.

Rhoderick struggles with control... gives up two in ninth... it's all tied headed to the bottom of the inning
Beavers can win it with a run here, but if not, we’re going to extra innings tied at three.

A bit ugly, but huge nevertheless!
Wow, nice comeback indeed and heck of a game really. Glad Reyes’ performance didn’t end in a Cal win for he was excellent all day and shame to have Rhoderick lose it that way.
Sweep in Pac-10 is big time and big time hanging with it for the Beavs, and once again Ortiz at home! And what can you say about the clutch play of Santos and Romero? Again this team has something going this year.
