Stephen Paea
Seattle Times sportswriter picks Paea as Pac-10 defensive player of the year. A well-deserved honor.
I thought he had a good year. DPOY is pretty generous (not to take anything away from him).
I just think he didn’t show enough this year. Having watched him last year, I thought he was poised to really break out. I know people doubled and tripled him, and that his fellow DL mates weren’t what they were last year, but still, he can do more.
Next year it should be unanimous.
This is interesting
Here’s how the coaches in ‘coaches poll’ voted. You can check out how each coach voted, especially look at Nick Saben’s vote (and a couple of others). What’s up with that? What 8 wins overall and 6 in pac-10, thus tied for second in conference not good enough?
Go Beavs!!
