This is a huge game for our team
If we can get a win tonight, 5 of our next 6 games are very winnable and we could escape from Non-Conference play avoiding disaster.

this game is a must
if we want any chance of sneaking into an at large bid

I wouldn't say it's THAT big
It’s a long way until March. I know we’ve struggled early, but I think we’ll improve.

ESPN's College Basketball Blog had this to say
On Friday night, Oregon State hosts Colorado. The Buffaloes have been playing well by putting five scorers on the floor. The Beavers found themselves defensively in a road win at George Washington after an embarrassing home loss to Sacramento State last week. If seeds hold in this game, the Beavers should hold serve here and win the first game for the Pac-10. If OSU has any visions of getting back in the mix for a possible NCAA berth, it has to beat Colorado. The pressure is on the Beavers to win Friday.

That's over exagerrating
Just my opinion though.

I'm not sure
I find it hard to believe the committee would put a team with only one quality OOC win into the tourney unless we finished top 2 or 3 in the conference

We've still got Nebraska on the road.
That would be another quality win. Also, look at most of the Top 25 teams. We’ve got way tougher of a schedule then most of those teams.
Plus, if we can start playing like we did at the end of last year, I don’t think finishing in the Top 4 is out of the uestion. The Pac-10 sucks this year.

With 15:50 left in the 1st Half
Colorado leads 9-4.

I like this lineup
we seem to be playing at a much faster tempo. I’d imagine that has a lot to do with Cunningham being in the starting lineup

Also
Nelson should be cleared any time within the next week or two, if their timeline of him being approved by the end of fall term was correct.

Wonder how long it would take Nelson
to get in for games.

I don't think it will take too long
If any time at all. We need his talent.

yeah
if he’s as good as advertised he should get some PT right away. we could use another guy who can create his own shot

I’ll trust Robinson to put him in the very
second he’s ready. He doesn’t seem
worried about hurting seniors’ feelings.
(A good thing, imo.)

sound?

No
Not at all. They haven’t hit a Field Goal in forever. They are making a living from the Charity Stripe though.

Gotcha. It’d take some sting off last
night to win tonight.

Not a bad 1st Half
Some Defensive breakdowns near the end, but I think our pressure is getting to them.

Sounds like
It’ll be a good game at least. Cummon
boys, win one for Parker. Haha but seriously.

how many FTs did they miss though?
Seems like the Beavs could be up by 20 if they made any FTs, but I’m probably just cranky about it all, but seriously come on.
-RVM
You're not cranky,
They’ve missed every FT I’ve heard.

I really did not think
Joe Burton would be as good as he’s
been. He’s a true frosh and he seems
to be our most reliable player.

Seems like some shots have just missed too
I would like to see this starting line up start clicking I think there is some opportunity with the young and old guys out there.

Concur on the lineup.

A lead! Finally!
Nice moves by the freshman!
But we just gave it back. sigh…going to be a bit of a battle to win this one.

Not to be snarky,
But Daniel Deane is a fullback.

you could hear him on the TV mics: “HEY!!! ANGUS!!”

And then
His face when FSN cut to commercial. God, I would not want to be Angus.

Fave part of listening to the games:
Definitely Parker’s awkward pauses
after another of Robinson’s screamed
obscenities. Hahahaa I laugh every time.

We need this one!
And by “we” I mean the Pac 10. The conference has looked bad so far in the non-con.

BIG Win.
Man that was therapeutic.
Hey rvm, they heard us about
the free throws! Hahaha
Dominic's Fridge is where great fudge bars go to die.
Good Win
I didn’t see a lot of Princeton, but maybe that’s a good thing. Looks like Burton, Cunningham and Haynes can take it one on one with proper spacing and Seth is there to clean up anything extra
I know this is way too early
But here’s a look at our resimay so far.
Good Wins: George Washington, Colorado
Bad Losses: Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Sacramento State
Good Losses: Texas Tech
GW isn’t very good this year, but still, a win in a hostile enviornment 3,000 miles away is great. Colorado, a team who took Gonzaga to the wire and fell to Arizona in Overtime, is a great win as well.
The Bad Losses are well, you know, bad. We don’t need to talk about those.
Texas Tech is 8-0 and just beat #10 Washington in Overtime. Considering there were a ton of bad calls in that game and we could of easily won, I would chalk that up as a good loss.
December 3rd. Autzen Stadium. Pac-10 Championship Game.
yeah
but that Sac State loss is so bad. That’s the kinda thing where you just have to pray that the committee decides that it’s an anomaly in your resume.

Great win for the Beavers
Nice to see us convert down the stretch. Let’s take care of business on Sunday against Cal State Bakersfield and that will set up a huge game at Nebraska on the 12th.
