Take it to the Cal crowd to make my mind spin out of control in all its statistically probability (if that is even a grammatically sound sentence), but they have broken down the scenarios for the Rose Bowl this year.

Now I dare anyone out there to test the validity and reliability of all this post has put forward!

So I guess the easiest way to get to Pasadena is

Arizona loses to California and Oregon. USC loses to Arizona. We win out.

So easy, a caveman can do it.

My prayers are with Best.

Better bet

is for Arizona to win out, and then if OSU does too, its the Holiday Bowl for the Beavs.

I don’t see Cal beating the ’Cats.

Sea World does sound pretty nice

But I want a Rose Bowl!

I don't care what Quinn says, I am NOT a Duck Basketball fan.

totally

But I’m afraid the Holiday is indeed the better bet, and it is an upgrade from previous years and I think we will match up well against whoever ends up there.

I just want to win out, that’s what it comes down to. But am I not mistaken that if the Beavs win out there is a possibility we could still end all the way down to the Emerald? Sun has that stupid no-repeat deal. I don’t know though, but thought it could end up that way (I hope I’m wrong), for this team is better than that placement.

Sandiegobeav would welcome all BTD'ers to SD...

And we’re much farther away from the border than in El Paso!! (15 miles)

Another possibility

USC loses to Stanford. Arizona loses to Cal and USC. We win out.The winner of the CW goes to the Rose Bowl.

This weekend shakes out to be crucial to the Beavers’ Rose Bowl hopes. If the Beavers, Cal and Stanford were to all win this weekend, this conversation becomes very interesting. At this point, the Beavers in the Rose Bowl is still a long shot.

Having been at the Beavers/Wildcat game, what a shame the Beavers lost that one. If the Beavers had won that one, they would control their own destiny at this point.

A bit worse don't you think?

Since it also becomes a possible tie-breaker game in favor of UA. And last year the Beavs still, even with the Stanford loss, controlled their own destiny at the end.

Should have won that USC game this year too…sigh.

Can’t look back I guess, but the what ifs, the what ifs,…onwards.

Exactly, Jake

The one loss this year that we’ll look back on and say “doh!” I can handle the Cincinatti loss, and USC too, (although I think we could’ve pulled that one out with one more possession), but Arizona…ouch.

The UA and SC losses are now equal for me

Should have won one, if not both, so even though I was cool with the SC game at first I think that one is a bit haunting now.
