Very Original

God OSU fans need originality. I strongly question what is taught in Corvallis during a 4 and I bet more likely a 5 year stretch for all those geniuses out there. What an encouraging group of soon to be “future leaders.” Well for all those OSU fans out there: I’ll take fries with that…. THANKS!

Hee

For the last half a century we’ve laughed about the career prospects on average of liberal arts majors as compared to engineers, and a Duck fan actually trots out the words, “I’ll take fries with that”…?

Look at the brain on the Big Boy…

Also thought this was funny. I have this sinking feeling Big Boy Maso only knows the “fries with that” line from past work experience.

by ArbyOSU on Dec 1, 2009 3:30 PM PST up reply actions

Should we be surprised?

It’s not a shock that most of this song is spent hating the Ducks. Will the identity of OSU be forever completely tied to the Ducks, or or are guys eventually going to able to enjoy success regardless of what happens in Eugene?

by lawduckfan on Nov 30, 2009 9:46 AM PST reply actions

It's not bad actually...

The rapping and lyrics are pretty good. The bass is horrible, way over-compressed and it doesn’t go anywhere. I just watched “I love my Ducks” and it still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand-up. The video production, sound quality and flow are way better.

Hope the football team brings it better than these boys…

Pretty weak

It’s all about hating on the Ducks, while the Duck video was about loving your team and having fun. Typical…don’t celebrate your own accomplishments, just bag on your rivals.

By the way, really love the image of a handgun pointed in my face…real classy. Bits like that make standing on your moral high ground a bit slippery, don’t you think?

To Joe,

At the time you commented on all the Duck comments, more than half of them were talking about how good the Rap was. I was getting on here to listen to it and had only good things to say about it, then I saw your post. Get over it.

Now, as for the Rap, I was going to say it was pretty darn good. I think the flow and the originality of the rap was top notch. The video definitely was last second or an after thought. And it was all about the dislike for the Ducks, which is understandable, and the “I Love My Ducks” was also all about the Ducks and their love for their own team. Reminds me of a joke.

“What do Duck fans and Beaver fans have in common?” “They both like to talk about the Ducks.”

But see now, I got off topic. I just wanted to commend those who put together the rap. Great job, and it makes this whole rivalry that much more fun. Also like your Frat that ran all the way to Autzen. I thought that would be a cool philanthropy project for all greek, and non greek to get involved in, if you all made it a fund, raising race.

Any best of luck to both teams, may they stay healthy through the whole game on on to which ever bowl they all go to. But in the end, GO DUCKS.

Well, maybe I made a mistake

DuckFan4 calls out Joe on his post. I’m all scrubbed up and ready to “get over it,” not that it’s clear what “it” is, but a close review of all the posts prior to mine reveals they were ALL posts from UO fans or from folks whose allegiance was unclear but had not-nice things to say about the video. So…sorry there, DuckFan4…..that was a massive fail for ya there, buddy. Shall we go over each post individually and parse whether or not they were from UO athletic supporters?

Also, you will not see any “let’s have a great game” drivel from Joe A. He does not buy in to those who crawl in to a Beaver blog to dish some dirt and then trot out some obviously insincere, “I hope both teams play well” nonsense. Give the thinking folks a break, k?

Oh…and Joe A. doesn’t care about “the rap.” He has no interest in the Duck rap, and the OSU one was lame. For the record.

Please note Joe A. is still unhappy about the lump of coal he got last year.

Which in turn is meant to be a criticism of duckyou (yes, classy name by the way) giving us a moral lesson by lumping everyone into a generalized category of Beavers fans.

By the way it was the “high moral ground” I mentioned, and not the “high road.” If you want to try and use my words against me at least cite them properly (angst indeed, and I’ll take it anytime). For example: “my ducks” = “your ducks” when properly set up as an allusion to how you seem to speak for ALL UO, and label ALL OSU, fans and those affiliated with the programs. Homophobic OSU fans are not “my fans” by the way.

I think I speak for my poorly dressed friends from AtQ when I say most SBN blogs hold posters to a higher standard.

I wear plaid shorts with a tie-dye top ONE TIME and you won’t ever let me live it down. Oh well, at least you haven’t seen TwistNHook lately. I hear he likes banana hammocks.

“Like” and “being addicted” are two very different things.

What, you think heroin addicts like heroin?!

Oh good… I’m so glad I’m not a heroin addict.

I just like it.
