Pike putting on a show
IRemember these guys? Mardy Gilyard has a kickoff return for a TD, and then Tony Pike, making his first start since he re-broke his left forearm, has completed five TD passes. The Bearcats are up on Illinos 42-20 with 20 minutes left in the game. The win will elevate Cincy to 11-0, and if Pitt (remember those guys?) defeats West Virginia this weekend, then the Panthers and Bearcats will play for the Big-East title, and a BCS game.
For all the complaining about the east coast bias / unawareness of the teams from the west, I still don't think a lot of west coast fans yet understand just how good a couple of the Beavers' recent non-conference opponents are. Ones I might add behaved with tremendous class when interacting with OSU.

Make that a school record 6 TDs
on a post pattern strike to Gilyard at the back of the end zone. Some question about being in bounds, as the lead foot clearly wasn’t, but the trailing foot drug, and its judgement that wasn’t overturned by review as to the instant of control.
Too good to take away, IMO.
Four Bearcats have 7 catches today.
I don’t think the winner of the Florida-Alabama want to see Pike, Gilyard, Guidugli, etc.
Course, ’Bama has a small problem of being down 14-0 to Auburn in the Iron Bowl at the moment.
