Baseball Civil War Returning to PGE Park

The Oregon St. Beavers and the Oregon Ducks will play baseball again next sprint at PGE Park in Portland. The Civil War Classic (presented by RBC Wealth Management) will be later in the season, when conditions should be more comfortable, on Wednesday, May 26, with the first pitch at 6:30 p.m.

Last season, the Beavers and Ducks drew a Pac-10 Conference record 15,540 to see Oregon defeat Oregon State 3-2 on March 28. Oregon State countered with an 8-1 victory the next day, with 13,709 in attendance at PGE Park, despite very cold conditions both days.

Oregon fans will be seated on the first base line, while Oregon State fans will be on the third base line at PGE Park.

I had such a blast last time. It was cold. It was wet. But it was an enjoyable game.

I wish college baseball brought more of the college atmosphere though. Need more marching bands!
