Final Score: Oregon State 48, Washington 21

As you get home from your game-day festivities in Corvallis today or log-on to the computer after a long day of football-watching, here's your place to reminisce about today's big win over UW. The win puts the Beavers at 7-3 on the year and 5-2 in Pac-10 play, and keeps them in contention for the conference championship.

The win was Oregon State's six straight against the Huskies, and Mike Riley tied Tommy Prothro with 63 victories. He is 11 victories shy of Lon Stiner's (1933-48) school-record 74 wins.

Playing well right now

Went on a 9-0 run but the Coyotes came back. Todd Mansfield continues to do horrible on the Play by Play. They should of flown Parker out on a jet after the UW game.

Rose Bowl

Wow. What a weekend! The Beavers, Bears and Stanford all win! If the Ducks beat Arizona next week and the Beavers beat the Cougars, then the Civil War game shapes up to be for the Rose Bowl! What a Saturday.

The Huskies looked terrible today. Penalties. Turnovers. Bad punts. Giving up a long kick-off return. The Beavers were good, but the Huskies did not seem to be able to get out of their own way.

I’m thinking (hoping!) Rose Bowl, too, but I have to admit I’m worried about the Civil War. Oregon looks good (crazy uniforms aside), and I never did hear any explanation for the massacre that occurred last year ;_; But man, how sweet would it be to take it to the Ducks at Autzen and kick them out of the Rose Bowl?

We better beat WSU next week! Suicide watch will be in order for a lot of Beaver fans if the team loses that one :-p

Cougars

The Cougars are bad. The Beavers are likely to be three touchdown favorites in the game. The Beavers will win the Cougar game. Canfield will not let them lose.

Let’s hope having a bye week before the Civil War game will make a difference in the game.
