Good stuff

The neat thing about this video, and something I didn’t at the time realized happened on so many plays, is that the SC defensive backs were so lazy about running in to assist on running plays. I suppose this can be explained by the fact that whenever their DL’s stack the runner up at the line of scrimmage, they and the ‘backers usually tackle the guy. Their assistance is usually not required, thanks for coming. They maybe didn’t prepare for a guy with a low center of gravity who just pushes north until the play is absolutely dead.

You could tell at the end they were so frustrated trying to tackle him they were just banging into him and not wrapping up. Maybe they thought he would get hurt? Nyuk.
