Another Option At QB in 2009?
We will be adding another QB to our depth chart for the 2009 season. What are some of your thoughts on this signing?
This signing brings up a good debate question about the size of QBs and the effectiveness of each. Do you prefer bigger QBs, such as Peter Lalich, or smaller QBs, like Moevao? Why?

I prefer quarterbacks who have good ball security and win games...
…like Lyle, Matt, Derek in their 2nd seasons.
Lyle has had the fastest learning curve of any OSU quarterback since J Smith. Unfortunately, he’s also going to have a pretty green offensive line
This Lalich kid, IF he enrolls tomorrow, could be Matt Moore 2.0—which has a nice ring to it. And it’s always nice to have a QB who can air it out like MM and DA used to. It will be nice for Katz to have some competition for the starting spot in 2010.

Questionable Past?
I’ve heard he’s had some discipline problems which were the reasons behind his falling out with Virginia. Seems to be a a decent player though with some snaps under his belt. As a duck fan, I just have one question….
Does he have an ACL or MCL we can borrow? We seem to keep losing ours
