Gameday Open Thread: Hawaii at OSU

Hawaii Warriors at Oregon St. Beavers, Sep 13, 2008 1:00 PM PDT

It's a must-win for the Beavers, as a 0-3 record heading into a game with USC is not what we want.

I'm heading down to Reser for the game, and I hope to see you all there. If, however, you'll be watching the game from home, here's the place for pre-game, during game, and post-game chatter.

Zero comments? WTF? I guess everyone went to the game?

Purdue Coach Joe Tiller was asked how to defend the Oregon spread offense:

"You see if coach Bellotti will agree to allow us to play 12 men versus their 11. Outside of that, I don't have any answers."

Yup

That’s usually how it is for home games.

Well...

We were too star-struck about the performance to write about it all :), and about freakin’ time. Not perfect of course, but very nice!

I loved that defensive stop that totally turned the entire game.

It was a great game to be at

Quiz is a monster, I like the idea of working him inside and moving the pile and breaking a big one. USC scares me, but the Beavers found a good system that works.
