It's time to unveil the Pac-10 Heisman Finalists for Week 11, which, coincidentally, are the same as last week.
- Jacquizz Rodgers, RB, Oregon State: Jacquizz turned in another great performance, this time against UCLA in the Rose Bowl. His weekly average is now up to 121 yards per game after he picked up 144 in Los Angeles. Jacquizz and the Beavers return to Reser to play California this week, who has the fourth best run defense in the conference- they give up an average of 116 yards per game. Quizz's performance against that defense will be crucial to the success of his team, as they look to finish strong in their final stretch of games.
- Marck Sanchez, QB, USC: Sanchez threw for 238 yards, two touchdowns, and had no interceptions last week in a win over Cal. He solidified his spot atop the Pac-10 passing chart with an average of 235 yards per game. The Trojans now must play Stanford, who has the worst secondary in the Pac-10. Another upset, anyone?
- Toby Gerhart, RB, Stanford: Gerhart only rushed for 21 yards last week at Autzen Stadium against the Ducks, as injuries sidelined him for parts or the game. His counterpart, Anothony Kimble, did end up breaking 100 yards on the afternoon, though. He's expected to play against USC this week, but the injury could be a factor in his effectiveness. against the Pac-10 leading USC run defense.
