Can Oregon's jersey's get any worse? Apparently they can.

That's a picture someone took with their cell phone camera of the uniforms Oregon is supposedly wearing this week. Do you suppose they'll be flapping their wings after each play :) Is Redbull the new Oregon sponsor? (props to BtD reader Chris for sending this in)

at a lost for words...

these are absolutely hideous. people thought our “sports bra” jerseys looked bad? now these guys have wings on their uniforms? wings for the ducks? sure does make a lot of sense. gotta love those U of O guys. maybe we can get some tiger paws on our jerseys or something. that would be cool too. Lol.

Can’t tell if you are being sarcastic but it sounds like it. Ducks do have wings. Your tiger paw comment is just weird.

Hahaha

I like my lineman with good footwork, good upper body strength, a nice wide base, compsure, and preferably not hungry.

at a lost for words?!?!?

I didn’t even need to read your salutation to know that you are Beavers fan. Your ability to spell and pay any attention to grammar is pathetic! So you don’t embarrass yourself next time the saying is, ‘At a loss for words’. But i cant blame an idiot for trying.

You okay dude?

Don't embarass yourself next time: "ducks in ass" is how it's spelled.

But I can’t blame a jerk for not capitalizing “I” when he’s trying to be a jerk about grammar and spelling.

Thanks!

if you guys are talking about it, then they are doing their jobs. On another note, these “might” not be debuted on Saturday. The black helmets though got a nice lookie-see today from the players and should get their first work tomorrow during practice.

On a personal note, I think they actually look pretty good. Diamond plating didn’t make much sense. It seemed like more of an Oregon State thing to me, something to go with the theme of chainsaws, etc (no dig intended)

Surprise, surprise

Wow imagine that, the focus of Beaver Nation is once again on the Ducks! Shouldn’t you be more focused on gettings fans to actually fill your stadium than worrying about the Ducks uniforms. Who cares about the uniforms, it’s obvious the recruits like the versatility Get a life!

Somebody needs to change this duck's diaper.

So, which recruits like the “versatility” the most? Is it the Cam Colvin’s and Derrick Jones’ of the world? Or, the guys who were in the speed racing incident in Springfield?

LeGarrette Blount is who he was referring to, among others.

by qrsouther on Nov 12, 2008 7:47 PM PST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I can't say the name LeGarrette Blount without you bringing up a bad game at SC?

And you also do realize that he had 1 yard on 4 carries? 4 carries CV.

by qrsouther on Nov 14, 2008 5:31 PM PST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

And just for argument's sake

LeGarrette Blount averages 7.1 ypc, while Jesus… errr, Quizz, averages 4.8.

Quizz Rodgers is a great great running back. LeGarrette Blount is a great RB too, but it’s a whole lot easier to get more yards than the other when you have many more carries than the other.

you just wish you had 4 helmets

GREEN
YELLOW
WHITE
BLACK

YEAH THATS RIGHT 4

I’m gonna agree with that.

Honestly, I like variety

The yellow helmets can burn though.

I’d be totally psyched if the Beavs started modeling Orange helmets. I like that idea actually.

"modeling"?

We do just fine with just one helmet.

But if we DO add a second, I’d like to see a green, purple, baby blue, maroon or even silver lid added to our arsenal. I mean, why not?

You wouldn’t like to see a throwback Civil War? I would love to see some old school white helmets from the Beavs

More for your sake than for ours though. I love the old white helmets but have adjusted with the program’s return to the black helmet.

The ducks’ pre-1998 unis were cool. It’s too bad Nike got all roboduck on your asses… I know you like it but they are the kind of uniforms that you either like or absolutely can’t stomach.

I throw up in my mouth a little each time I see the grellow flames.

I could've said donning?

I’m just saying, an Orange helmet or something would be pretty nice, that’s all.

Orange helmet? No, not unless Nike goes buckwild on us too. There no room in this state for any additional college football helmets. There just isn’t. We’ll take one and roll with it.

This makes me appreciate the OSU uniforms.

I really dig the all white road uni’s… Nice and simple. I have to admit, I liked the UO circa-2001all whites.

When a team has more helmets than most teams have uniform combinations – well… there’s nothing “uni” about that “form”.

Agreed.

Damnit, I hate doing that. :-)
