Corvallis named #99 best Sports Town by the SportingNews
Boston comes in at #1, unsurprisingly. Portland ranks #50.

Cool Link
Not too far behind Portland is Eugene at #59. Keiser made the list at #379? Forgive my ignorance, but what goes on there to justify being included on the list?

Um, the name of their city appears next to Salem in the name of a minor league baseball team.
And that stadium is pretty cool.

Eugene 59th...
What’s the criteria though? It says sports town, does it maybe mean more of college town? This list is weird, but hey, cool enough.

Ypsilanti?
Did Ypsilanti push Detroit+Ann Arbor over the hump against Dallas-Ft Worth?
I’m sure UNC/Duke/NC State fans will be THRILLED to be lumped together into one sports town (Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill).
What makes Seattle a good sports town? Did they even get to keep their WNBA franchise? Okay I’m done now…
I like the yellow helmets!
